I have an espresso machine that will only work if I unhook the green ground wire that’s on the inside of the appliance. As soon as I hook the ground back up, it trips the GFCI outlet. It seems completely dry on the inside and looks clean and without corrosion. Any suggestions?
Thank you ‘Steve & Katrina’ for a well-thought-out explanation. Roadrunner 58 got a thumbs down for giving an incompetent and useless answer that was entirely unhelpful.

Does Starbucks hire Baristas only or are there other positions available? I am a coffee freak & i frequent many of my local Starbucks locations all the time. The other day one of the Baristas that frequently makes my coffee suggested i apply there and gave me an application.

Now what i want to know is: does everyone they hire have to go through Barista training, or can i just be trained to cashier & mark the cups , as the role of a Barista looks a bit too stressful too me- and i have a wierd love for working on register.

So basically can i be hired as a cashier?
Thanks.

I need a very detailed description of how coffee makers with programmable timers actually work. I need enough detail and instructions that I could build one. Links with pictures of the inner workings of a coffee maker would be helpful as well but not necessary. Best answer will go to the instructions that I could possibly build a programmable coffee maker from!

Question by charlie6385: What coffee out there is good black for someone who likes their coffee sweet?
I usually drink my coffee with sugar and cream and lots of it. And while I have cut down, I want to cut to black (I’m also dieting). But I prefer sweet coffee, not bland. Is there anything out there that provides sweet coffee without having to add the sugar and cream? Thanks!

Best answer:

Answer by BlueSea
Put Splenda in your coffee, it works great. It is sweeter than sugar, I think so I use just a pinch. And putting a bit of powdered creamer in your coffee is not going to sabotage your diet, but you can always try the non-fat version.
If you prefer liquid creamer there are lots of non-fat versions or try 1% milk

What do you think? Answer below!
