I love Starbucks Passion Fruit Tea and Lemonade iced drink. Can Passion Fruit tea be purchased? Has anyone made this delicious drink? What are the proportions, or should I just experiment?

I have a partial answer: maybe someone knows the whole answer.

I love their Passion iced too, too. I duplicated it at home but to do that, you need to buy the Tazo Passion tea bags (and I find that flavor hard to locate in our local supermarkets even if they carry the brand – I am guessing the flavor isn’t that popular). Whenever I go down a supermarket tea aisle, I look for it and buy it when I see the boxes.

Brew a strong cup of the tea, adding sugar while it’s hot. Then pour that over a large drinking glass filled with ice, stir it around to get it good & cold. Voila!

This is direct from a Starbucks barista:

Go into Starbucks and purchuse the retail Tazo™ Passion ice tea bags they have in a pack. Some regions do not carry this product. If that is the case purchase the hot Tazo™ Passion tea bags. Either pack contains several and is under $ 5.00.

While there ask your barista for a bottle of Classic™ syrup. This is not something offered in our retail section, however, we are required to sell it to you if you ask. It will always be behind the counter, and you will always have to ask. It will be large bottle of sugar cane syrup that will run you about $ 6.95. It will last for a while. Also ask them for a pump. Some stores will be reluctant to give it to you, but again they are required and it will make the next few steps much easier.

Leave Starbucks now. Stop somewhere else and pick up some lemonade of your choice. Starbucks will not sell you the lemonade. They can’t. I suggest something with a bit of tart to it. The Classic™ syrup will even it out.

Go home and brew your tea. If you had to get the hot tea make it as though you were making a small cup of tea. You need the flavor to be concentrated. And also let the tea cool before proceeding.

Now, the proportions of Passion tea to lemonade is about equal. So half tea, half lemonade. If you have a shaker of any sort (for alcoholic drinks) this is a good time to take it out. If not then find a good spoon and very tall cup. Add the tea and lemonade.

So here’s a little math for you to figure out how much Classic™ you will need.

A Tall Iced drink is 12 ounces and gets 3 pumps of syrup
A Grande Iced is 16 and gets 4
A Venti Iced is 24 and gets 6

Add your syrup accordingly and they add your desired amount of ice. Shake (or stir vigorously) and there you go.

An at-home version of the Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade.

body lotion is water based and is runny
body cream is oil based and thick!

Body lotion provides a normal level of hydration for the skin
body cream provides a longer higher level of hydration!
body lotions wash out of your sheets easier than body creams!!!
