You need to start with an expresso machine. Brew some shots of expresso (usually 2), put ice in the blender along with the expresso, flavor syrup of your choice (usually 1-2 oz.), and milk or cream. Then whirl away. You could always ask at Starbucks about the proportions they use.

I am a manager for Starbucks. Unfortunately, the items we use, cannot be purchased anywhere else. You could make something fairly similar, but not going to be very close.
I would say the closest to this would be maybe get a vanilla smoothie mix, add shots of espresso and flavored syrups. (the syrups we do sell in the stores) not sure where to get the smoothie mix….grocery maybe. This is not the way we make it, but I think this would probably be the closest.

    Hope this helps

The Greeks dismissed all other cultures as inferior barbarians, even the word "barbarian" originally just meant "unable to speak Greek", so they ignored and refused to keep any material other than their own. This meant that all the great learning prior to their own culture was lost. It that earlier cultures ask how, that is the nature of scientific research and many of the earlier cultures had a higher level of understanding of the natural world than the Greeks ever achieved, it is that the African and Middle Eastern knowledge was lost due to Western European ethnocentrism.
