Question by Vampyre Romance: How would I have Starbucks showcase my art?
I have twenty to thirty paintings that I want to showcase and sell in Starbucks. How would I go about getting my local Starbucks to do this? Under what circumstances would they do it?

I’ve had shows at privately owned cafes. I just approached the owner and asked if they were interested. You can do the same at Starbucks with the manager. There may be a corporate policy about whether they can or cannot do it. If they can, your work might have to be approved by more than the manager, not sure. But all you have to do is ask.

If they can’t or aren’t interested, I would try a local privately owned cafe. I’ve found they are usually interested and supportive. If you have an opening, however, don’t expect them to provide food and drink free of charge.
