Question by Angie W: What are some good ways to get a job at Starbucks?
I will be applying at Starbucks within the next few days. I am a working professional, and am looking a for part-time job. I really want to work at Starbucks because I think it would be fun. I live in a small town, so I know the competetion will be tough. I am hoping to work the very early morning shift on saturday and sunday.

    make a resume and submitted to them.. dont go without one. Also put experience that is simliar like sales, working with people, any club at school u are in etc

    Just make sure you spell competition correctly on you application. Who knows, if you already have a job then you are obviously qualified because a Starbucks worker is considered unskilled labor. The best way to get the job is to apply…that really all you can do.

    Well alot of places don’t do just “hi i can work these days and these shifts only” because they can hire someone else who can be more flexible…So they can have more shifts covered and more time to train them. But i guess just put in your application and see. AND don’t “call everyday to speak with the manager about your application.” as someone wrote below me. Calling once is okay to let them know you are interested.After that.. its not considered persistent its considered very annoying..

    Personally, I think you could get some commitment from your co-workers to do "green" things at their own homes. That would have a bigger impact on the overall problem then just at your work place.
